This workshop is focused on how you can quickly and easily build prototypes for testing out your ideas, without having to wait for technical resources. Malte Kosub, Co-founder of Future of Voice and Parloa, a dialog management system, will help you get hands-on and bring your ideas to reality.
For decades, humans have sought to understand machines, and user interfaces have developed from printed-out results to sophisticated touch-screen displays. Now the tables have turned and we look to create machines that can fully understand humans. Learn how to take a rule-based approach to build a conversational flow, accounting for anything the user could say and creating a natural conversation for achieving various outcomes.
This interactive workshop begins with an introduction to dialog management and the rise of digital assistants such as Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant. Tilmann will share his thoughts and expertise, showing you why now is the time to begin crafting your own Conversational Strategy.
AI can be used to help create engaging experiences in the areas of Media, Customer Service, Commerce, Information Platforms, Internal Assistance, and much more. Malte will guide you by showing you how easy it is to build your first Voice application using Parloa, and in the second part of the workshop participants will be able to get to grips with the platform itself. At the end, you will be able to walk away having created your own voice application, and you’ll be armed with a host of ideas for how to take things further in your own day to day work. You’ll see that there’s an easy way into the world of Conversational AI, and that it’s really not that complicated after all.
