Angela Brennecke is a professor for Audio and Interactive Media Technologies at the Film University Babelsberg. Her field is creative coding with audio and graphics. She is exploring new ways of music and storytelling. She graduated in Computational Visualistics and holds a doctoral degree in Computer Graphics. After she finished her doctoral degree she brought together her passion for music and her scientific knowledge when she worked as a software developer and technical project manager for “Native Instruments”, a manufacturer of software and hardware for computer-based audio production and DJing. Following this she was a project engineer for Innovation Projects at the public broadcaster Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) where she was primarily responsible for developing new concepts for journalistic media applications. She participated in several research proposals for Horizon 2020, the EU Research and Innovation programme.
